This post is a little more personal, as it explains the story behind the creation of this blog, which is closely connected to my own journey.
Some time ago, I walked through a door that felt like an incredibly positive and transformative shock. I discovered empathic and telepathic communication with animals by practising it myself — from the inside, experiencing it in a very concrete and tangible way.
My commitment to animal welfare
Since then, a powerful drive has emerged: to learn, understand, research, explore… and, above all, to share this wonderful tool with as many people as possible. This has led me to share, “little piece by little piece”, what this fascinating journey teaches me along the way.
To make this sharing easier, I created this blog dedicated to animal well-being, with the aim of fostering greater harmony between animals and their guardians. Here, I share my own discoveries and reflections, which naturally emerge from my personal development.
And what truly inspires and moves my heart is precisely animals. One key phrase perfectly sums up my approach:
THE MORE OF US WHO BELIEVE IN AND GIVE CREDIBILITY TO ANIMAL COMMUNICATION, THE MORE ANIMALS WILL BE LISTENED TO, HEARD, UNDERSTOOD AND HELPED.
My love for animals is a guiding thread throughout my life, and I could even say that these creatures, who are “magical” in my eyes, are a source of inspiration, and even guides! They lift me up, and it is thanks to them, and with them in mind, that I have shaped my life path over the past few years.
A flashy artistic road!
My passion became my profession. I am a professional animal portrait artist. Those who already know me under the name aRtyDoG will know that dogs, cats, horses… are the central subjects of all my paintings. The many portraits I have had the honour of creating are, and will remain, a celebration of their inner and outer beauty.
Painting allows me, through my own perspective, to enhance and celebrate that sacred part of life: emotion, joy… love!
This professional artistic adventure began in 2016, and since then I have experienced intense and incredibly enriching years, learning about the relationship between animals and their guardians and meeting so many wonderful people. I take from it a profound sense of fulfilment. This artistic universe, with our animals as my muses and portrayed in my very own style, is in a way my “baby.”
I have received so many heartfelt messages of gratitude from guardians that this will probably remain one of the highlights of what I have been able to give to others. In my own way, with my own touch, with my own style. Every single one of my paintings, without exception, is a true gift of myself. A piece of my heart is in it.
But life is never a smooth, straight road…
A New Beginning
To find peace within myself, I had to stop painting for over two years. During that time, I even thought I might never paint again, because “my heart was no longer fully in it.” More and more, I felt that I had taken my artistic journey as far as I could. Continuing meant running the risk of creating portraits without the very essence that had always been at the heart of my work. For me, that was simply unimaginable — even impossible.
I am quite a wholehearted person (perhaps too much so?), at least when it comes to my intentions. As I grow older, I realise that all I really want is to be honest with myself and follow what truly inspires me.
A Difficult Time — A Necessary Passage?
I went through a very difficult period when I stopped painting, because I had not prepared myself to let go of this “baby”. Overnight, I found myself with “empty hands and an empty heart.”
It felt as though I had already had my share of the magical side of life, and I suddenly found myself facing a kind of inner void. I went through an intense period of emotional and physical exhaustion, a sort of grieving process accompanied by extreme anxiety and a loss of desire for almost everything.
After my incredibly colourful mountains, I explored my darkest depths. I frightened myself. I had to go through it. As I write these words, I realise that perhaps it was inevitable — and probably as intense as what I had built.
Bouncing Back
For my own well-being and that of my family, I pushed myself to bounce back fairly quickly. As soon as I managed to regain a little energy, both physically and mentally, I developed a new professional activity: working as a freelance secretary.
It perfectly answered my need to step outside my studio, my comfortable solitude, reconnect with the human world, become involved in businesses that were not my own, and so on. It helped me rebuild a healthy balance, find my place in society again and contribute to it.
True Guides
But I remain a passionate person — and where there is passion, there is often obsession! I am also naturally curious. You can probably see where this is going, can’t you?
That magical bond with animals, combined with my curiosity, led me to discover animal communication during an introductory workshop.
I went along feeling completely relaxed, absolutely convinced that I would never be capable of it. I simply wanted to learn more and meet someone who could connect empathically with animals. I was there purely to learn and gather information, because I love learning.
And then… BAM! I discovered that I could do it too — even though it took me almost a year for the penny to finally drop.
The “Next Level”
Spirituality has always held an important place in my life, and experiencing, from the inside and in such a tangible way, a dialogue with an animal felt like an ABSOLUTE REVELATION.
Apart from my family, my animals and my friends, it is, in my eyes, the most beautiful gift life has given me. From the bottom of my heart, I wish every human being could experience reconnecting with the invisible side of the “living world”. It puts everything into perspective. It is transformative.
In my personal journey, it feels as though I have moved to a whole new level.
I paint them but now I also listen to them. Ultimately, it is another form of observation. I do my very best to convey their voice to their guardian as faithfully as possible. With one specific purpose: for them to be heard, better understood and helped when needed.
I immediately decided to learn from an experienced professional by undertaking a truly fascinating professional training programme with Isabelle Losa Communication Animale Professionnelle. She is an inspiring person in so many ways, both on a human level, through her great sensitivity and depth of spirit, and professionally.
She does remarkable work with an extraordinary level of accuracy, demonstrating great mastery of the empathic practice. She is a high-quality mentor who knows how to share the wealth of her experience as an animal communicator — and in this field, this transfer of knowledge and expertise is incredibly valuable.
Following My Heart
Just as in my artistic life, I am called to follow my heart and to remain as much as possible in alignment with myself. For me, this is one of the fundamental conditions for being able to practise animal communication.
My commitment to animals is wholehearted. And how could it be otherwise in a practice where, for the duration of a session, we place ourselves entirely at their service?
Empathic listening requires putting the analytical mind on pause and making yourself available to receive the animal’s message through the senses and the heart. It is a true act of giving oneself, requiring care, time, concentration and energy.
It means experiencing the animal’s subjective reality as if you were experiencing it in their place, as if you were seeing through their eyes. It is practising deep empathy through telepathy.
As a picture is worth a thousand words, here is how I conceptualise telepathic and empathic communication with animals:
A heart-to-heart transmission through waves, an overlap of experiences, an understanding from within.
